We as stylist must also pay attention to a client’s lifestyle, job and time available for grooming. We do appreciate when clients bring in pictures of styles they admire. Current trends:
Straight sleek hair is still very popular with the shorter styles. Cut short at the nape and falling longer toward the front just below the chin or a bit longer. Bangs are either very short like baby doll bangs or hang very long over one eye.
Longer hair can be wavy or straight with long hidden razored layers to create volume and movement.
For men: Trends continue to be on the short side with a bit longer length on top and gelled into a mock Mohawk; pretty cute for the younger set.
Color trends for men and women:
Ah…… color has gone wild …..and we love it. There are tons of combinations that will continue to amaze our clients well into the future. Color applications using only one color are now a thing of the past. It’s not uncommon to have at least 3 or 4 bowls of different colors per client.
